Convergent Solutions was founded on a simple idea: the best automation systems emerge when sound engineering and thoughtful integration are treated as one discipline—not two separate phases.
I am a professional engineer with 23 years of experience designing industrial control systems and more than a decade delivering complete systems integrations within the water resources sector. My background spans control system architecture, PLC programming, HMI development, and industrial network design—allowing me to take projects from concept through deployment with technical continuity and accountability.
What distinguishes my approach is the way I bridge engineering techniques with practical execution. By applying DevOps principles to industrial automation—such as version control, repeatable builds, structured testing, and disciplined change management— I help clients reduce lifecycle risk while improving system clarity, reliability, and maintainability.
Rather than treating controls as a collection of devices or code fragments, I design systems as long-lived assets: understandable by operators, supportable by maintainers, and adaptable to future operational needs.
At its core, Convergent Solutions exists to improve control systems by building them intentionally—aligning engineering decisions, integration practices, and operational realities into a cohesive whole.
Control systems should be engineered with the same discipline as any other critical infrastructure. Clear design, predictable behavior, and long-term maintainability are not optional—they are foundational.
B.S., Electrical Engineering and Computer Engineering
23 years as a Professional Engineer
10+ years delivering full-stack systems integration
Extensive experience in water/wastewater control system design
Deep expertise in PLC, HMI and industrial networked systems
Engineer-Led Integration
Design decisions are made with full awareness and accountability from concept through commissioning.
DevOps-Informed Automation
Source control, repeatability, and change management are embedded into control system development.
Lifecycle-Focused Design
Systems are built to be operated, maintained, and extended—not just delivered.
I started Convergent Solutions to practice control systems engineering the way I believe it should be done—thoughtfully, transparently, and with respect for the people who will operate and maintain the systems long after project closeout.
No hobbies. No clichés. Just values.
